Men's Tennis Team Falls to Penn State/FONT>
STATE COLLEGE-- The Bloomsburg University men's tennis lost to Penn State on Wednesday by a score of 7-0.
The Nittany Lions won all three doubles to earn the point (Division I rules gives the winner of the majority of doubles matches on point). The best match in doubles play was at number two where the team of Lee Wexler (Lafayette Hill/Plymouth-Whitemarsh) and Mark Schroeder (Basking Ridge, NJ/Basking) lost 7-6, 7-3 in the tie-breaker. The team of Fernando Perez (Center Valley/Southern Lehigh) and Ryan Glubo (Old Bridge, NJ/Old Bridge) lost 8-4 at number one, while Jeff Nuhfer (Warren/Warren Area) and Alan Hummel (Manheim/Hempfield) lost 8-3 at number three doubles.
